 Marshall White

Age:30
Weight: 340
Location: Pagosa Springs, Co
Gym/ Training Facility: Home (commercial gyms don’t look too highly on stones, axles, and big heavy tires)

Deadlift: 880# raw
Backsquat: 765# raw
Front Squat: 600# raw
Clean: 170kg x3
Clean & Jerk: 420# on an axle (2 in bar)
Snatch: 162kg (I know this is way too close to my clean)
Strict Pullups: 15 at 324lb bodyweight
Bench Press: 484#
OH Press: 440# on an axle
Yoke (if applicable): 1064# x50 without belt, 1234# x40 feet with belt, never truly maxed. Pretty sure 1300+ would go for a stroll these days.
400m sprint:  I weigh 330#, I don’t do this.

Favorite Workout:
I love love love brutal workouts, I once attempted to hang snatch 100kg for 20 reps, I made 15 reps and then puked my brains out.  Another time in one squat workout I hit 500x17, 405x20, 315x20, 225x20, and 135x20.  High rep squats make me grow a big rubbery one.

Biggest meal ever eaten:
After I won BC strongest man in Ladysmith, British Columbia I went to an all you can eat sushi place and destroyed over 120 pieces of sushi.  I’m a huge eater all the time, I slaughter and butcher my own beef so that I can consume my required 50oz of beef every day.  You gotta eat huge to be huge....no 2 ways about it.

What else should LBEB readers know about you?
I’m an elite level strongman, with a top 5 placing in America’s Strongest Man competition 4 out of 5 years I have competed.  I also qualified for and competed in the ’09 World’s Strongest Man competition.  I also own a funeral home in Colorado so I’m pretty sure I’m the strongest mortician in the world, so yay for me.

Is this a joke?? I out eat most people I know on a daily basis. My Achilles heel would have to be anything sweet. I make some super amazing epic desserts. The Naughty Girl Scout and Fat Camp are two of my favorite cake creations. I like my desserts BIG and SEXY! I'll throw down on some super awesome clean eats as well. The more MEAT the better! 6oz of steak is a baby portion. I'm talking 16+. A real woman's portion!

What else should LBEB readers know about you?
I'm a tattooed Martha Stewart......except I have a heart. I grew up as a competitive tennis player and played D1 in college. I have always had an affinity for strength sports and decided to pursue powerlifting after my tennis days.  After competing in the Southern Powerlifting Federation for several years, I knew it was time to move onto my #1 love. Strongwoman! I am focused on complete and utter domination. All the way to the TOP. In 3rd grade I won a contest for guessing how many jelly beans were in a jar. I'm beyond amazing.

I am a full time CrossFit coach. I just recently started to compete in the masters division.
I love animals and long walks on the beach.
I'm funny.
I have a huge fetish for weapons and anything that goes fast. If it was legal to carry a gun in Canada, I'd carry a 44 magnum.
"I can't" does not exist in my vocabulary.

Age: 24
Location: Auburn, WA
Gym/Training Facility: Thrush Sports Performance Center
Deadlift: 240kg/528lbs
Back Squat: 250kg/550lbs
Front Squat: 200kg/440lbs
Clean: 165kg/363lbs
Snatch: 130kg
Clean and Jerk: 165kg/364lbs
Strict Pull-ups: 10
Bench Press: 270lbs
Neck Jerk: 190kg/418lbs

Favorite Workout
:
Snatches and back squats. I also enjoy neck jerks, simply for the feeling of throwing nearly four hundred pounds over your head like it's a joke.

Biggest meal ever eaten:
I went out to a Mongolian grill joint with a 105+ Lifter that snatches 155kg and squats over 700lbs. He was determined to teach me to eat like a true 105+. Every plate I finished he sent me back. 4 plates later and probably 3 pounds of lamb/beef/chicken and who knows how many pounds of noodles, I thought I was going to die. It was a meal I will always cherish.

What else should LBEB readers know about you?
I'm a Calpian, if you don't know what that means I suggest you look it up. I gave myself a tattoo, it says "Citius Altius Fortius" which is the Olympic motto. Some people think it's cheesy, but every once in a while I'll go to clean or snatch and pull up my shorts revealing the motto and it motives me like nothing else. I also like to consider myself to be something of an artist, Pen and Ink and charcoal for the most part.

Black belt instructor of Krav Maga. Love teaching Crossfit and defensive tactics! My biggest passion: giving people a better quality of life through both fitness and self defense. I've been hit by cars on three separate occasions, hasn't killed me yet, so that's a fun fact haha. If I could eat steak everyday for every meal I would, and quite often I do! Not one day passes by I don't thank God for my family, friends, loving girlfriend and the amazing members of my gym. Truly truly blessed!

Biggest meal ever eaten:
Once at fuddruckers I ate a One pound burger, cheese fries, a rice crispy treat and a milkshake...yeah I'm that guy haha. Or any time that I go to an Asian buffet, just plates upon plates of sushi, teriyaki chicken, beef and broccoli, and fried rice.

What else should LBEB readers know about you?
I was a fat kid growing up so when I got to highschool football was an obvious choice for me and that really helped me find my calling in weightlifting. I wasnt the best football player but I'll be damned if I wasn't the strongest. what I lacked in skill I made up for in Strength and dedication. I was always the first one in the weightroom and the last one out I couldnt get enough of it. I played football in college as well but decided to stop, at that time I was about 315lbs and made the choice to cut 70 lbs in about 4 months to 245. At that point I wanted to do something competitive still so I did my first strongman competition in september 2010 which was Illinois strongest man and at 18 years old tied for first place in the teen division. A few months later in febuary of 2011 I tied again for first place in the mens light weight division. This year I'm going to start competing  in the heavy weight division  for the first time. I am also training to compete in my first Olympic competition this year. other than weightlifting I would have to say comedy is my thing I literally never stop joking around (no not even during lifting) which often leads to me having to take a few moments before my set to stop laughing and get focused.
